Working principle of EAS wine bottle cap anti-theft buckle

2025-01-16

The working principle of the EAS wine bottle cap anti-theft buckle mainly relies on the cooperation of the electronic tag and the monitoring system. The following is a detailed introduction to its basic working principle:

1. Anti-theft buckle design and construction

EAS anti-theft buckle usually consists of two parts:

Hardware anti-theft buckle: This part is a physical device, which is usually fixed to the bottle cap or bottleneck, and plays a direct anti-theft role.

Electronic tag: The electronic tag embedded in the anti-theft buckle can sense and communicate with the monitoring system.

2. Working principle

Electronic tag and radio frequency identification technology: Most EAS systems use radio frequency identification technology. Each electronic tag in the anti-theft buckle contains a tiny chip and antenna. When a customer passes through the store exit without checking out, the anti-theft system will send a signal of a specific frequency, and the antenna of the electronic tag will receive this signal and respond. If the tag is not unlocked correctly, the system will trigger an alarm.

Activation and release: When the anti-theft buckle is in the commodity transaction, the store's checkout system will release or turn off the electronic tag through special equipment. When the commodity is checked out, the staff will use these tools to release the anti-theft buckle through magnetism or electronic signals to make the tag invalid.

3. Types and functions

Magnetic EAS buckle: This type of anti-theft buckle uses magnets to fix and releases the magnetic force through a special unlocker. When checking out, the staff uses the unlocker to release the magnet's adsorption force to open the anti-theft buckle.

RF EAS buckle: This anti-theft buckle communicates with the store's anti-theft system through radio frequency signals. When the goods pass through the monitoring area, the system will determine whether there are unchecked goods based on the signal of the tag.

4. Monitoring of anti-theft system

At the entrance and exit of the store, there are usually some sensing devices to detect the signal of the anti-theft tag. They usually continue to emit electromagnetic waves of a specific frequency and determine whether there are goods that have not been checked out by sensing the reaction of the tag. Once the monitoring system receives the signal of the unreleased tag, the alarm at the door will be triggered.

In short, the EAS wine bottle cap anti-theft buckle combines physical locking with electronic signals to ensure that the goods will not be stolen without checking out.
